Advertising Policies
(Updated December 2011)
The editor reserves the right to edit or reject all ads. Classified advertisements should run no longer than 50 words. The newsletter is published bi-monthly. The deadline for all advertising is the 1st of the month preceding the issue. NOVA NEWS will not accept advertisements that contain NVDS member/dentist(s) names as endorsements.
All ads must be accompanied by check or credit card number.
All rates are for one issue only. If not approved, check will be returned.
All design ads must be camera-ready or in an acceptable electronic format. Electronic files must be in Mac/Quark 3.3, EPS, TIF, JPEG or PDF formats. (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Pagemaker and web images are not acceptable.) Large files may be compressed with Stuffit or WinZip. Color or grayscale images should be 300 ppi, black & white images (no grayscale) should be 600 ppi. Layout/design is not included in ad price. Deadline Dates
NOVA News is distributed 6 times a year. To assure inclusion, all ads should be received at Northern Virginia Dental Society by the following dates:
December/January Issue -- by November 1st
February/March Issue -- by January 1st
April/May Issue -- by March 1st
June/July Issue -- by May 1st
August/September Issue - by July 1st
October/November Issue - by September 1st
