Synposis:
Advances in metals and efficiency in root canal treatment have come a long way in the past 7 years. More flexible endodontic files available today are capable of negotiating tighter and curved canals with greater ease. The increased flexibility of the WaveOne file and the use of its reciprocating action decrease treatment time and ensure a properly cleaned canal. Participants for this course will gain appreciation in learning to use the WaveOne files and technique to tackle molar root canal treatment. They will also appreciate the need for loupes and gain more confidence in molar root canal treatment.
Objectives:
•Review of local anesthetic techniques for difficult to numb teeth
•Detailed WaveOne technique using WaveOne files and Reciprocating WaveOne motor
•Root Canal treatment emphasizing efficiency with fewer files
•Importance of using magnification during root canal procedure (Participants must bring their own loupes and light source)
•Patient Safety during root canal procedure
•Post-operative management of pain following root canal treatment
•Provide a live patient root canal procedure experience
