Effective risk management starts with predictable systems. This session focuses on the three key areas of risk management that matter most to dentists and their practice: communication, documentation, and clinical protocols. During the program, we will explore common blind spots that lead to patient misunderstandings, inconsistent notes, and avoidable clinical errors, as well as practical solutions that protect both patients and providers.  Throughout the evening, participants will examine real-world scenarios that dentists face every day, including unclear financial conversations, incomplete informed consent, and variability in clinical techniques. The speaker will highlight proven strategies that strengthen patient trust, improve team consistency, and reduce liability exposure.  Attendees will leave with clear takeaways they can implement immediately, including stronger scripts, better documentation habits, and standardized protocols for a safer, more predictable practice.

Learning Objectives:
• Identify high-risk moments in patient interactions and apply clear, consistent scripts to prevent misunderstandings about treatment, fees, expectations, and post-operative instructions.
• Strengthen chart notes, emails, and consent forms by accurately recording clinical findings, recommendations, informed consent/refusal, complications, and patient decisions using objective language.
• Standardize daily workflows through procedural clinical protocols and safety checks to reduce variability and increase predictability.
