Welcome to the Northern Virginia Dental Society!

Founded in 1931, the Northern Virginia Dental Society (NVDS) is the largest of eight component societies of the Virginia Dental Association and the American Dental Association with over 1,400 local member dentists including specialists.

FREE TO NVDS MEMBERS
REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, MAY 26, 2023

Pre-registration is required and is closed.

Registration with NVDS is required.  You must receive confirmation from the central office prior to attending the event.  We will also need an estimate of how many boxes you will be bringing.  An individual Certificate of Destruction will be emailed to all participants after the event.  
*Please consider volunteering at our Northern Virginia Dental Clinic or make a small donation to help our clinic continue to serve the underserved. You can volunteer and/or donate directly on the clinic’s website https://www.novadentalclinic.org

Box size is equivalent to a case of copy paper

The Northern Virginia Dental Society has contracted again with Shred Instead, a secure document destruction company, to shred and dispose of all your old patient records and office/business records (no x-rays).  VA Board of Dentistry recommends disposing of inactive patient records’ six years from the date of last service. Visit the VA Board of Dentistry website for exceptions to this regulation. All paper files will be shred on-site at the NVDS Central Office.
