Description:

Designed to give you more than any other Botox course available, “The Complete Face,” is exactly that – COMPLETE. FACES provides the only Botox training that includes both upper and lower face cosmetic indications plus masseter and temporalis (TMJ) in one class. The Complete Face provides a rich educational program experience that saves you time and money by not requiring multiple levels of training. Reinvigorate your practice by adding Botox treatments with this Anatomically Based, Academically Rigorous and Scientifically Driven© participation course. 

Objectives:

At the completion of training, the participant should be able to:

  • Identify specific areas and features of the aging face that can be improved with tox treatment
  • Discuss indications for therapeutic treatment with botulinum toxins in the head and neck
  • Conduct a thorough patient consultation to evaluate the potential need for and assess the suitability of tox treatment
  • Avoid, recognize and manage adverse events
  • Demonstrate proper photo and written documentation required for tox treatment 

Biography:

Dr. Gigi Meinecke has been a leader in the field of facial injectables for over 20 years. In 2013, she founded FACES Education, a program dedicated to providing medical and dental professionals with comprehensive training in both cosmetic and therapeutic injectables. FACES Education is distinguished by its rigorous focus on facial anatomy and evidence-based protocols, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and esthetic outcomes. Beyond her national teaching engagements, Dr. Meinecke developed the Facial Injectables program and curriculum for Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where she also serves as faculty. She directed the program for nearly a decade, shaping the next generation of injectable providers. Dr. Meinecke is also a facial anatomy pro-sector and a recognized expert witness in injectable-related litigation, offering specialized support in legal cases within the field. Her publications include “Applications for Facial Injectables in Dentistry,” “Lower Face Influence on Total Facial Esthetics,” and “When and How to Say No to Facial Injectable Patients.” She is author of the book, “Start and Grow Your Cosmetic Injectable Practice.” Dr. Meinecke remains active in organized dentistry and has served on the Academy of General Dentistry’s Dental Practice Council, the AGD’s Legislative and Governmental Affairs Council and is a past Chair of the ADA Council on Communications. She is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Meinecke maintains a private practice limited to facial injectables in Potomac, Maryland.
