Description:
This interactive discussion will explore the practical aspects of incorporating neuromodulators into a general dental practice beyond the initial certification course. Participants will compare the advantages and limitations of commonly used neuromodulators, discuss purchasing and inventory management, review proper storage and reconstitution techniques, and become familiar with the equipment and supplies needed to provide treatment efficiently and safely.
The program will also examine the business side of facial esthetics, including patient scheduling, team training, internal and external marketing strategies, patient communication, and methods for creating a seamless patient experience. Participants will discuss real-world approaches to consent, documentation, home care instructions, follow-up protocols, and practice systems that improve efficiency while incorporating this treatment into your day to day schedule.
Finally, attendees will benefit from an open forum of experienced colleagues sharing the clinical pearls that are rarely covered in certification courses. Through discussion of case selection, injection techniques, patient comfort, troubleshooting, complication avoidance, and workflow optimization, participants will gain practical insights that can be implemented immediately in their own practices.
Objectives:
- Evaluate clinical, operational, and business considerations for successfully integrating neuromodulator therapy into a dental practice.
- Implement effective protocols for purchasing, storage, documentation, patient communication, treatment delivery, and follow-up care.
- Apply practical clinical pearls and practice management strategies shared by experienced providers to improve confidence, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
